Psychology of Converting a Prospect to Money

If you want a truly successful business, you need to take a close look at how Psychology can set you apart from the rest of your competition.

Secrets of negotiating

Remember this: no matter how great your product or service, unless you can negotiate innovatively you’ll never achieve the success that can be yours.

When you follow-up with a prospects, ask them: “Do you have any situations that we can work out together using our mutual expertise?”

Psychologically, by substituting the word “situations” for problems, you are more likely to get a positive response. Also, by using the term “combined or mutual expertise” you are telling them you respect their valuable knowledge.

Remember this advice - Seek first to understand, then to be understood.

How to make people respond more quickly

Remember: “People respond more to what they are going to lose than to what they are going to gain.”

It’s very powerful when you explain to prospects they will probably lose market share to their main competitors if they don’t adopt your ideas. Ask yourself: What will my customers stand to lose if they do not buy my service or product?

Psychology can also play a powerful part in overcoming objections to requests for a follow-up call. There are two strategies that will result in incredible opportunities coming your way. Try them today.

Tell your prospects you really want to understand their needs precisely and you feel you can’t achieve this unless you talk to them in on the phone. People want to feel understood more than anything else and the businesses that understand this take all.

You can also add that it will only take, say, 12 minutes, (let them time you!) to show them how they can benefit from what you’re offering. You can also offer to give them a free gift (low cost with a perceived high value eg reports, e-books etc) if they think you’ve wasted their time.

Packaging Your Website

You can increase your sales by using appealing photographs of typical users (yourself) on your website.

Why is this? Well, it humanizes your product or service and prospects perceive you to be more professional and trustworthy.

This can be very powerful for a home-based business to add to the level of trust for your potential prospects.

Beware of this common mistake

This is a common mistake made by many in home-based business marketing. Marketing your home-based business, you must sell benefits, not features. If you sell your product or service using features, you must stop this mistake immediately.

While marketing your home-based business, you can sell its features: “Free website and dozens of marketing tools to promote your site”. How many advertisements do you see like this?

However if you sell benefits, you sell prospects a lifestyle and that’s psychologically powerful.

For example, you can sell benefits by offering “Financial freedom” (your product) with a special offer of test-driving the product for 30 days (innovative pricing to encourage a larger sale). You can then detail how your product leads to financial freedom, for example, free website with your personal attention to helping your prospect begin marketing their new business.

This can be done in many different ways no matter what your home-based business is. The secret is to turn your service or product into a package (a way of life) and combine it with innovative pricing.

Psychology in marketing

Using psychology in your marketing will add immense power to your efforts, you’ll reap the rewards quickly.

Psychology is not a trick it is recognizing and celebrating our strengths and weaknesses as humans.

My next article

My next article will be titles, “We eat our young”. It will be a discussion on the psychological aspects of helping, or in some cases not helping persons new to owning their own business.

No matter what level a technician starts at, the GM Technician Training Strategy allows for training at high school, college, and higher levels. This is done using a unique three-tiered approach, which customizes training to a specific technician’s needs.

For example, GM ASEP provides training for technically inclined students opting for a career in maintaining and servicing GM cars. The partners who develop and supervise the program are GM, its dealerships, and many North American universities. Only GM ASEP teaches current GM products. GM ASEP gives students the flexibility of alternating between attending college and working at a sponsoring GM dealership for two years. Students will graduate with an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology.

GM ASEP incorporates advanced automotive technical training with a strong academic foundation of math, reading, and electronics, and both analytical and technical skills. Idiots Guide For Building A Business Website

Have you ever wondered how a person builds a website for
business? Really, not as complicated as you might think!

1) First you must decide what you are going to sell or market,
whether it would be “affiliate marketing” or a niche sight idea.
If you are just starting out I would highly recommend “affiliate
or associate marketing” because 90 percent of affiliate programs
are free to join, and very easy to set up.

2) After you have decided your business idea you need to choose
an appropriate title for your website. Example: The Dog and Cat
Supply House, not My Dog and Cat Supply House or Jill’s Dog and
Cat Supply House.

3) Next and very important your domain name. Domain name is the
address of your website so people can find your website when
searching the Internet. I would recommend a domain name that
matches your title very closely such as:
http://www.the-dog-and-cat-supply-house.com this is done because
if someone searches for dog and cat supply, guess what your
sight can be found easily. Domain names can be registered
through many web hosting companies for a small fee per year.
While registering your domain you will need to have your website
hosted on a web server. A web server is a computer or group of
computers which keep your website on the World Wide Web. You
will be able to upload your files and change them at anytime,
for instance price changes or advertising changes to your
website. You’re asking what web hosting company I should choose.
There are many hundreds and even thousands of companies who will
host your site. I would suggest a host who has very little down
time for maintenance and reasonably priced. I use Website Source
which I highly recommend. Please visitWebsite Source

4) So, now what? You now need to know “html”
(hyper-text-markup-language) or if you are new to all of this
may I suggest a web building editor such as Frontpage. The
reason I suggest Frontpage is because it is a WYSIWYG (what you
see is what you get) type editor for building website. With
Frontpage you will be able to edit and publish your website
directly to your web hosting server.

5) I feel the most important item when building your website
are the content and the keywords used so that the search engines
will see your website. I have 2 free email courses related to
this subject.

http://www.jbsnet.com/searchenginemasterscourse.htm Another
important item for consideration is linking to other website or
called exchanging links. Recepical linking gives you and the
website you are linking to a better web presence for search
engine ranking or the importance of your sight. Our free course
on linking can be found at:

Remember to learn before you leap and your business will grow on
the World Wide Web.

Real Estate Web Design

Real Estate Web Design: Are You Being Sold?

Abstract: Real Estate Web Design experts review the needs of
Realtors(R) and real estate brokers, and highlight the
advantages of dynamic real estate websites.

The most successful real estate agents and brokers realize the
value of their agency websites and are constantly working to
improve them. Unfortunately, many agencies throughout the United
States are still working with static websites that are difficult
and costly to maintain.

But how do I upgrade? you ask. Often this is not a simple
answer. You need to consider the needs of your business and your
agents. How will you manage listings? Are you using a Multiple
Listing Service (MLS)? Should your agents have access only to
certain parts of your administration panel, and not others? What
about logging agent and visitor actions on your website? Here is
what you should look for in any real estate management system
you contract for:

Dynamic, searchable listings. If your listings are not
currently in a database and searchable, they need to be. This
feature is the reason so many homes are sold online. It’s the
“shopping in your underwear” principle: if a web surfer can
access information about your homes at 11pm, and in a bathrobe
while watching ER, no less, a whole new window of
opportunity is opened, allowing you to showcase your listings
24/7. He immediately emails you and sets up a showing; you
arrive at your office the next day, get the email, call him, and
you’re on your way to making another sale.

Easy contact methods. All the interactivity on the Net
won’t help you if your potential client can’t get in touch with
you. Make sure that your newly designed website has plenty of
opportunity for users to click to your contact forms: a link
from every listing, and multiple contact methods (phone, email,
etc.). Don’t require too much information on the form, but make
sure you get enough: at least a name, an email address, and a
phone number. Also, don’t rely on straight email links to get
the job done: many computer users do not have a default email
program installed, so when they click on your link all they will
find is a setup wizard–a confusing and annoying situation for
many users.

Lead management. The other end of the line of
communication must be tied in: your lead management system must
dovetail perfectly with your website. If you have an existing
lead management system, see if your web design company has
already built an interface for it, or would be willing to build
one for your website. If you do not have a lead management
system, find a website system that will provide one for you,
seamlessly integrated with the site itself, such as the AWS Real Estate Manager.

System logs and user management. Real estate agencies,
unfortunately, are not immune to legal issues with personnel and
properties. System logs help you track down what was done on
your site, when, and by whom. Make sure that whatever real
estate website you choose includes a system log that shows you
key activity on your site. You’ll thank yourself later when a
dispute arises.

Likewise, you’ll need to specifically manage which sections of
your site certain agents are allowed to edit, and others they
are not. The administration panel of your website should have a
section for setting user permissions: whether a user can edit
all listings, or only those assigned to him; whether he can add
or delete other users on the system; how many listings he can
have and how many images attached to each; whether he can access
the system logs, etc. These features will help you properly
regulate the bandwidth and quota your site uses so you won’t
incur extra charges each month, as well as avoiding duplicate
work and conflicts among agents.

Self-updating site pages. If you’ve outsourced updating
of your real estate website to a web design company, you know
how expensive it can get. Such updates need not reach so deep
into your agency’s coffers. When researching your new site, see
if it provides a tool to allow you to create whole website pages
on your own.

But I can’t write webpage code! you say. You shouldn’t need to.
If the site is designed correctly, you’ll have a form that walks
you through the process of adding page data and content,
complete with hyperlinks, images, font formatting, table
creation and all the HTML essentials–with nothing required
except a little aesthetic sense. With such a system, you could
easily save $2500 or more per year on outsourcing costs.

Whether you’re starting a new real estate agency or are looking
for a new design for your real estate website, this information
should help you find an effective system that will suit your
business’s needs. Other items to consider are search engine
friendliness of the website system, marketing skills the firm
can bring to the table, and support. Armed with these questions,
you can be sure you’re getting your money’s worth, and that
you’ll encounter as few problems as possible with the
implementation and maintenance of you new website.

Ten Backpacking Trip Essentials

I’ve had backpacking trips that included rain, snow, lightning, rockslides, altitude sickness, and twenty-mile days - all in a summer weekend. Wilderness trips can be dangerous, but you can make then less so, by having the following ten essentials in your backpack.

1. Knowledge. What good is a compass if you don’t know how to use it? Play with matches if your fire-making skills are shaky. Learn what to do when you see a bear. Read a little, practice a little - knowledge is more likely to save you than gadgets.

2. Map and compass. These are together, because that’s the way you need to use them.

3. Matches and lighter. Bring both, or waterproof matches and a fire starter of some sort. Having two ways to start a fire is much safer.

4. First aid kit. Buy a pre-packaged one or build your own. Make sure it has pain relievers, bandages, disinfectant, and notes on basic first aid procedures.

5. Foot care. Your first aid kit needs moleskin, and maybe a pin, to treat blisters. Your feet have to be well cared for when you’re hiking miles from the nearest road.

6. Water purification. A filter works, but they clog and break so often that you should have a small bottle of iodine tablets or other water purification as back up.

7. Rainwear. One of the biggest killers in the woods is hypothermia, and it often starts when you get wet. Try to stay dry.

8. Shelter. This can be a tent, tarp or bivy sack. Just be sure you know how to use it.

9. Sleeping bag. Down bags are the warmest for their weight, but be sure you know how to keep it dry, or bring a synthetic bag.

10. Specific trip items. For backpacking trips in Michigan in May, bring insect repellant. In June in Arizona, bring sunblock. Think about the specific conditions for the time and place of your trip.

Make your own list if you take regular backpacking trips. It’s no fun when a friend tells us ten miles down the trail that he’s allergic to bees and forgot his medicine. A little planning means less worries, and a better trip.

Who should have a Stair lift?

By Flemming Andersen

A stair lift is a great way for someone to have the freedom that they deserve. This is designed to help people that have a hard time getting up and down the stairs when they need to. It is so important for people to have their independence. When someone feels like they cannot do something on their own, it will make them feel useless and depressed. Having a stair lift in the home is a great way to get that independence back.

One person that should have a stair lift is an elderly person. These people have older bones and it is so important that they do not break any bones. In addition, there are some elderly people that cannot get around on their own easily. When this is the case, it is crucial for them to have a stair lift so that they can go up and down their stairs without any problems. One fall could potentially harm them seriously.

When there is someone that has a disability, they may find it hard to go up and down their stairs alone. Having a stair lift is going to give them the sense of security that they need to do it on their own. A stair lift has a special chair on it that will allow you to sit in it and be transported up and down the stairs. This will allow people that do have these problems to gain access to their entire home and not have to rely on the help of others to do it for them.

Anyone that has health problems like a bad knee, bad back, or problems keeping their balance, then a stair lift is something to think about. It is a key item that anyone with these problems or any other health problems has a stair lift in their home. This is going to be a great help and will offer support for them when they need it without them having to ask for help.

A stair lift will allow anyone that has a hard time with stairs the ability to keep their freedom and have a safe way of getting up and down their stairs. This will allow them to stay in their homes and not have to move somewhere else. They are a great idea and one that will be appreciated for a long time.

What Of The Day?

“Oh Prophet, what of the Day?” screams the headlines today. Paul
wrote that in the latter days, which include us, “perilous
times” shall be the theme of the day.

This word describes a society that is totally removed from any
godliness. It is a time when wicked people do wickedly and
wickedness is upon the earth. Has there ever been a time as this.

Yes, Jesus said that “as in the days of Noah”, so shall it be
in the coming of the son of man. Those six words describe Paul’s
society of Perilous times. In fact the bible says it this way:

Genesis 6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is
come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through
them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

1Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the
longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark
was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by
water.

2 Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the
eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the
flood upon the world of the ungodly; The word “violence”
according to strongs Hebrew #2555, transliterated into English
means violence, destruction, cruelty, wrong, injustice, hatred,
false, unrighteousness. It comes from a verb transliterated as
‘Hamas’ to do violently, to do violence, to do harm, to lay
waste, to think up, devise, and to be stripped of. This verb has
cognates in Aramaic, Akkadian, and Arabic, according to my
libronix research library. Does the Word ‘Hamas’ mean anything
to you today? It pictures such a society that God said “the end
of all flesh is come before me”. Peter said of this society it
was “ungodly” and that Noah was a “preacher of righteousness”.
Noah was not just building his ark 8 hours a day, going home
drinking latte’s, and then going to bed. In the spare time, and
while this man was building an ark, he was speaking to those
around him to repent. He did this so much, he was considered a
“preacher of righteousness”.

In this we see the mercy of God, in that he actually waited to
destroy the inhabitants of the earth until the ark of safety was
built. Today, Jesus [Iesos, in Hebrew Yeshua HaMassiach] is our
ARK of safety. If we repent and turn from our ways, we shall be
saved from the wrath of God. If we do not, then the wrath will
be upon those who follow this course.

In our society many do as they think is normal and good. They
work, keep some sort of morals, and follow the democratic law
for a society. Howbeit, some do not. For those law breakers, we
provide justice. Sometimes though, lately, the justice is
skewed. The money a man has can buy a lawyer who will defend
him. If he is good enough in the defense, the defendant gets off
the hook. We declare him innocent. How many of these guilty men
who were declared innocent got off scot free. Then there is
those who are really innocent and were declared guilty. This is
the law of man, imperfect. The law of God is perfect. He has
provided a way for you to be declared innocent through the blood
of Jesus Christ. If you believe, you can walk in the shadow of
Gods provisions and find safety.

As you live and work in today’s society, don’t look to man. Man
will not solve the problems of this world. Don’t look to
religion, it will kill you. Look to the Lord. A relationship
with Him is not a religion, but an experience with the risen
conquering Savior and ruler of all things.

Furthermore, as you look at the headlines see the turmoil which
relates to the ‘perilous times’ Paul talked about. Today, the
headlines of a certain major news magazine had 12 plus stories
related to sex. From molestation, gay issues, and more, our
society is steeped in this sex issue. As we follow the
headlines, you will read of Wars, rumors of wars, pestilence,
plagues, natural disasters, murders, and more.

Truly, the days of Noah are here. The world is filled with
violence; the end of all flesh has come before the Lord. He is
coming soon…

The Advantages of Being a Work at Home Mom

I could not ask for a more rewarding job than the one I have
right now. I don’t have to get all dressed up for it. I don’t
have to waste money on gas to get back and forth. The money that
I save in eating out for lunch and daycare is a bundle in
itself. My job is being a work at home mom. Getting to stay at
home with my children is one of the most rewarding feelings that
I have experienced. I love having the being able to be here for
my children and I am also able to help support my family. Being
at home for my older children is important to them. I can be
here when they arrive home from school and they can immediately
get started on their homework or any projects and if there is
something they do not understand then we can work on it
together. If one of them were to get sick at school I can easily
go and pick up my children without having to get permission form
anyone. I don’t have to worry about making appointments around
anyone’s schedule I only have to worry about what works for me.
Working at home allows me to be able to work my hours around my
kids not the other way around work my children in somehow to my
work schedule. I am at liberty to take a day off and not have to
worry about am I going to get fired from my job. I don’t have to
feel like I have to get someone’s permission about my own
children. When there is something that needs to be done I can do
it without any consequences. I don’t have to answer to a
supervisor. I am my own supervisor. If I had an outside job I
would have to get off from work and at most places they would
get rid of you for getting off from work. There are so many
advantages to being a work at home mom. My list could go on and
on. If you are thinking about being a stay at home, these are
just a few good reasons why you should. If you decide to stay at
home it will be the best decision that you and your family could
ever make.

Not Your Grandma’s Grammar

Not Your Grandma’s Grammar

As if it isn’t enough that computers have influenced just about
every area of our lives, you’d think that something as sacred as
the English language would remain immune to technology’s
pressures. Not so. You may not need to learn new rules of
grammar as often as you need to update your computer’s RAM, but
tweaking your grammar skills will make you look more
professional, and you can impress your friends and colleagues
with some cutting-edge reasoning.

SPACED OUT One or two spaces between sentences after a period?

Unlike individual letters in typewriters, which all take up the
space of one character, computerized lettering allows for
spacing differences depending on the size of the letter or
punctuation mark. Hence, an m or an H is wider than an I. A
period takes up less space than any letter so one space after a
period on the computer creates a large enough gap to the eye to
indicate the end of a sentence.

Computer programmers changed this rule, not grammarians or
English teachers. The battle is still being waged, but I think
the programmers will win.

QUESTIONABLE MARKS Quotation marks and punctuation.

In Grandma’s day, a period used with quotation marks followed
logic. Examples: Myrtle said the word “darn”. The period went
outside the quote because only the last word was in quotation
marks, not the entire sentence.

Myrtle said, “I would never say that.” The period went inside
the quotation mark because the entire sentence is a quote.

Today (actually for the last 30 years or so), the period always
goes inside the quotation mark. Example: Myrtle said the word
“darn.”

This does not follow logic, but it makes life easier for
professional editors and for the rest of us who have enough to
think about besides punctuation. Warning: If you write a
quotation in England, ignore this advice. Logic is still
followed on that side of “the pond.”

WE’VE COME A LONG WAY, MAYBE Since Grandma’s day, we have
shortened some words and dropped the former plural form. Memo
and memos used to be memorandum and memoranda. Yet other words
still retain their original length, spelling, and plural form.
Example: curriculum and curricula.

With the word data, we no longer see the singular datum used at
all. Data is now normally used as both the singular and plural
form. Examples: The data are being tabulated. The data is useful
to the scientists.

JUST BECAUSE In Grandma’s day, you would be scolded if you
started a sentence with but or because. But you wouldn’t have
deserved that scolding then or now. Just make sure that if you
start a sentence with either of these two words, you are
following them with complete thoughts. Good Examples: But she
would never say such a thing. Because of this bee sting, my arm
is swollen. Bad Examples: But I can’t. Because I said so. These
are incomplete thoughts and you will get your knuckles rapped
with a ruler for writing them.

A Quick History Article on Plasma Television’s

More or less a decade ago the idea of a wall-mounted telly can have seemed like a wishful thought. It was out of the reach of the majority of avid consumers, with outstandingly high fees that ordered taking out a second mortgage to these very shiny televisions. Still, over time, these dream television products reached the point of attainability. Yet, currently not something you might just go out & purchase, it has of late little by little become much more of a possibility. Marked-up prices for these flat panel High-Definition TV sets are nowadays diminishing more rapidly than new house prices, & have made the electronics vision a reality. Are you looking to buy a 32″ LCD TV? If so the look no further than Digital Direct.

Now there are two contending flat-panel technologies: plasma & LCD. Whilst each type bring an amazing picture & these television sets can deem comparable from the front, the technology on the inside is by far different. And although LCD tellies have been limited to 37-inches and below, TV sets with the liquid crystal display technology are at this moment in sizes as large as plasma.

Although, in spite of that, numerous consumers judge plasma to offer a number of very important benefits over LCD televisions. The key advantages is that plasma sets naturally contain deeper black levels-endorsing that the blacks are in truth be told black & not no more than just a dark shade of gray. This in turn means that the colours are much more bright and authentic. The newest models from Bush & Wharfedale have in fact taken the black levels to incredible depths, and thus have presented the best images we’ve seen to date.

Regardless of the reports that plasma television sets “needs to be recharged” after eight thousand hours, nothing can be far more from the truth. These days flat panel plasma TV’s would often last for sixty-thousand hours or more, giving years of top quality TV viewing. Even though there has been a nervousness over problems like that of burn-in (fittingly so, as this might possible ruin that expensive plasma television), the most up-to-date TV’s have components to address picture retention, giving pixel shift functions that slowly move the full display, and more critically, eradicate any ghosting should static images in fact “stick” the image. This includes a white wash mode plus an inverse mode to get rid of all burn-in.
