Sodas and colas are incredibly popular across the world. These beverages account for more than a quarter of all drinks consumed in the United States. More than 15 billion gallons were sold in 2000. That works out to at least one 12-ounce can per day for every man, woman and child.
Sodas are full of empty calories and will contribute to obesity, tooth decay, weakened bones and caffeine dependence. Studies have shown strong links between children who drink sodas and childhood obesity. No one can deny the ties to soda and tooth decay, and it isn’t just the high levels of sugar that cause it. The acids in sodas begin to etch away the tooth enamel within 20 minutes. These acids also upset the gastrointestinal system and cause many stomach disorders, as well as disturb the acid/base balance in the body, making an acid climate in which disease flourishes.
Sodas are a huge contributor to caffeine dependence, and it often starts with young children. And diet colas are often packed with a lot more caffeine than their regular counterparts. With the popularity of stimulant drinks such as Red Bull, that contain extra amounts of caffeine, there is a reported rise in aggressive behavior and violence among youths that consume these drinks.
Besides acids and caffeine, sodas contain phosphorus, an ingredient shown to weaken bones by promoting the loss of calcium. Phosphorus contributes to bone breakage during childhood, and osteoporosis later in life.
Another danger is aspartame added to diet sodas as a sugar substitute. There are over 92 different health related side effects associated with aspartame consumption, including brain tumors, birth defects, diabetes, emotional disorders and epilepsy/seizures. Plus, when aspartame is kept in warm areas or stored for long periods of time, it changes to methanol, an alcohol that converts to formaldehyde and formic acid, both of which are carcinogens.
There really are no good reasons to drink sodas. Juices, herbal teas and water are much better substitutes.

Getting approved for an auto loan is easy. However, obtaining a low rate auto loan may be a bit more challenging. When financing any sort of merchandise, the interest rate received makes a huge difference.
If you have bad credit, a lender will likely charge a higher rate. In some instances, this may significantly increase the monthly mortgage payments. If shopping for a new or used vehicle, adhering to the following tips will increase your odds of snagging a low rate auto loan.
When is the Best Time to Apply for an Auto Loan?
If financing an auto loan, timing is a crucial factor. For the most part, lenders prefer applicants that display stability. Thus, steady employment is a must. When applying for an auto loan, wait until you have been with your current employer for at least six months. If you have a habit of switching employers every two to three months, an auto loan lender may consider you a risky applicant, and increase the auto loan rate.
Establish Credit History
Before financing a home or auto loan, establishing previous credit history will work to your advantage. Auto loan lenders are more apt to offer lower rates if you have maintained a good relationship with a previous creditor.
Building a good credit history is easy. You may do so by applying for a major credit card, gas card, or retail credit card. Upon receiving the card, make a few purchases, and pay the balance each month. This will reflect positive on your credit report, and quickly boost credit score.
Keep a Low Credit Card Balance
When judging an applicants credit history, lenders will also assess whether a loan applicant can afford a particular vehicle. If you have acquired a lot of debts, this may prevent you from obtaining your dream car. Therefore, attempt to reduce debts before applying for a car loan. Fewer debts will increase your spending power, and make you eligible for prime rates.
Wait at Least Two Years after Filing Bankruptcy
If you have filed a recent or past bankruptcy, try and wait at least two years before applying for an auto loan. After a bankruptcy, lenders consider you a big credit risk. You may get approve for financing; however, the interest rate may climb as high as 18 percent.
Try using one of ABC Loan Guide’s
Recommended Low Interest Auto Loan Lenders.
Instead, focus on rebuilding your credit history. Immediately following a bankruptcy, apply for a bad credit credit card. If possible, attempt to open at least three new lines of credit. By doing so, you will re-establish a good credit history and improve credit score. After 24 months, you will likely qualify for a reasonable auto loan rate.

The Euro Millions lottery was to begin with set-up by the national lotteries of Spain, the UK and France and was disclosed in February 04. The first draw was on Feb 13th 04 in Paris. The France, Spain and the United Kingdom were the only nations partaking in the beginning but lotteries from the Republic of Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium likewise became active in Oct 2004.
The Euromillions lotto or the Euro lotto, as it is normally renowned, pools the lottery ticket revenues of the nine partaking European countries presenting a enormous Euro Lotto jackpot. With the amount of nations joining the Euro on the increase, this will without question will lead to more states participating in the Euro lotto. A growth in the number of people partaking in the Euro Lotto will result in a lasting increase of the already sizeable EuroMillions “jackpots”.
Q. How To Play The Euromillions Lottery
Each participant must pick out five primary numbers from one to fifty and two Lucky Star numbers from one to nine. During the lottery draw, 5 primary plus 2 “lucky star” numbers are then picked out at random from 2 draw machines containing numbered lottery balls.
Euro Millions Prizes
The probabilities of scooping the Euro Lotto jack-pot is a remote 1 in 76 million but the chances of acquiring a cash prize is a somewhat decent 1 : twenty four. When the “jackpot” is not won in a given week, it is brought forward to the following lottery draw which results in an ever increasing jackpot value. Recent regulations brought in on the 9 February 2007 specify the amount of consecutive “roll-overs” to eleven, with the jack-pot rolling out to lower prize levels in the eleventh draw if the prize is not collected.
The recent rules also initiated the euro millions Super Draw which happen twice each year and offer jackpots in the region of £100 million. The difference with “Super Draws” is that the “jackpot” has to be won during the week of the lotto draw; this means, if there is no lotto ticket corresponding, all the numbers drawn and the top prize will be distributed to the lotto ticket bearer(s) on the succeeding winning prize level.

Every child is born with the human Growth Hormone, also known as GH. This hormone helps to build bones in children and ensures proper overall growth. The quantities of GH are highest in your body in childhood, and keep declining as you grow older. However, this does not indicate that you do not need GH in adulthood. In fact, adults too require adequate amounts of GH, a deficiency of which can cause premature graying and early onset of the aging process.
The Growth Hormone, also referred to as the Youth Hormone, is so called for a very good reason. Medical studies have proved beyond a doubt that maintaining optimum levels of GH in the body can have numerous benefits including:
Increased muscle mass
Strong immune system
High energy levels
Improved sexual ability
Loss of body fat
Better skin texture
Restful sleep
Better eyesight
Increase in bone density
In addition to the above HGH benefits, the growth hormone also helps to delay the aging process and helps your body to heal faster and more efficiently. However, to take advantage of all these benefits of HGH, it is vital that the growth hormone be present in adequate quantities in your body.
If the levels of IGF1 in your blood are less than 150 ui, then you have what is termed as a growth hormone deficiency. In such a deficient state, you will not be able to see any of the benefits of HGH, which may cause your body to lose its youthfulness before its time. But thankfully, you can treat a HGH deficiency by going through GH replacement therapy.
Although GH replacement therapy had some side effects when it was first introduced, there are no harmful side effects associated with GH replacement therapy today. All claims that GH replacement therapy causes diabetes or enhances the growth of cancerous tumors are false as they are not substantiated by medical research and studies.
There are many types of products used to increase GH levels in your body, but not all of them are effective. In fact, the only GH replacement therapy that actually works is the one which uses GH injections, in much the same manner as insulin injections are used. All other GH products including GH pills, supplements, HGH secretagogue products, powders, tablets etc that are sold with claims of increasing GH levels are false products which do not benefit you in any way. Anyone claiming that their product can increase your HGH levels is only trying to scam you and nothing else. It may be possible to attain higher energy levels and feel more energetic by using herbs and herbal supplements, but in no way can these help to increase your HGH levels.
GH injections, which are the only way to increase GH levels in your body, are very expensive and can cost as much as $600-$800 each month. However, it may be possible to enhance your well-being by natural methods such as using the right herbs, ingesting natural antioxidant foods etc.

If I read 1 good valid murder mystery book, would I really want that to be the ONLY book on the subject? If my 8th grade history book was considered to be accurate by the majority would I really want to be limited to only knowing one author’s thoughts on the subject? Or how about browsers and music players? Do I just want to use IE? It gets the job done well enough.
So what’s the difference between those analogies and fitness ebook, supplements and programs? Really there’s no difference to me.
Let me explain as I know there’s a million web sites, book, supplements, and training programs. And for a beginner it’s like:
Where do I start?!
When I first started off, there were a few major books on the subject (Arnold Encyclopedia) and of course the main muscle magazines. That is where I learned my information from. And locker room chat and so called friends. I was on the quest in the 10th grade to put on weight. A guy who was bigger then me gave me some golden advice. He said “Just eat everything man. Candy bars whatever.” With that, I agreed that in order to get bigger and more muscular, I needed to eat. So at break, I ate an Snickers bar every day. Needless to say, I didn’t get any bigger, I probably put on a tiny bit of fat and the dentist was happier. But when you don’t have a lot of resources, it’s pretty hard to judge.
I look back on that memory fondly. With the power of the Internet and the people coming out of the woodwork as experts, now there’s so much information, sometimes it’s the same situation, only there’s many voices.
But I still like the fact that I have many choices.
If a person was ONLY to read the Max-OT guide, would they be alright? I’d say they would be better off then nothing but, they wouldn’t be a good, well-rounded fitness type. And I’m not making any negative judgments about Max-OT. I love that program!
But think of the person who:
Reads this message board for as much information as they can (conflicting or not)
Buys eBooks and reads thru them to understand many perspectives
Understand nutrition on a basic level as well as more advanced
Knows of many training programs (can workout in a full gym or at home with nothing)
Visits other sites to see videos of proper techniques
Listens to advice in the gym but has a foundation to tell if the advice is accurate or base-less and knows of research outlets if it warrants further debate
The person in the first example only reads 1 eBook. It’s a great eBook and it’s free. But it cannot possibly cover everything. While this person will do well, they won’t be as versatile as the person who’s read thru many books, posts and forums to really understand how the body works, nutrition and more importantly, how it will affect them and their goals.
I remember asking people what they thought of this whole sport.
The majority were disenchanted by the slew of supplements, the million training programs, the 500 ebooks on bodybuilding and the paper classics. It’s like they wanted to know out of the 1 million resources, which ones were the ones they should read. And it better not be too many.
But the problem with having somebody else choose for you obvious. And the problem with too few choices is obvious as well.
Having so many choices is actually quite good. Many DB members who have read over the posts, visited the sites linked to and talked about and purchased the eBooks that get talked about often have a very well rounded knowledge base. They also start to see a lot of repetition. 6 meals a day is the way to go if you are on a weight gain or weight loss program. It just depends on what you eat for those 6 meals that determines the outcome.
I look at my bookshelf and I see many fiction works and I see many books on supplements and vitamins. I look in my computer folders and I see well over 30 ebooks on fitness subjects. And I look in my supplement closet and see various programs and such. And I’m not confused. I like choices. I like different protein powders. Some shakes I love. Others give me an upset stomach. So having choices is good. And thru experience and time, I can pick and choose the best ones to suit my needs because after all the reading, the posting the debating with members, and just reading what people post, I get better and better at being able to pick out what will best work for me.
Do not get discouraged when you walk into a supplement store and see 30 different types of bars. Nor should you get angry or upset when you go to various places and see yet another book on fitness. Having choices benefits you. And thru reading and learning and talking, you will figure out what is hype and what is real. One man’s bullshit is another man’s placebo to a 400 lb bench press.
Keep learning and don’t look for the ONE program or the ONE supplement or the ONE book that will tell you the golden truth. Fact is, if you only had 1 of everything, you’d be very limited in knowledge.

It is easy to neglect health insurance when planning for an education. Most students are in the mindset where the need for health insurance is the last thing on their mind. Teens are wont to believe they are immortal and that they can never become ill. Unfortunately, regardless of how well a person is, this is no way to predict their future health. Appropriate student health insurance isn’t a good plan, it’s absolutely essential. For those students fortunate to be included in their parent’s policy, most of them should include a college student up to their twenty-third birthday. For those who do not have coverage under a parent’s plan, exploring an appropriate student health insurance policy must be an integral part of getting ready for school.
So what is fundamental in medical insurance for students? Deductibles: A deductible is a yearly amount you must pay before the health benefits start kicking in, much like an auto deductible. To give an example, should your deductible be five hundred dollars, you will have to pay that amount prior to claiming financial benefits associated with your plan.
So what is your co-pay? When the deductible is covered, most policies ask you to pay a share of the bill for each trip to the physician’s office, medicine or operation. This, in a nutshell is a co-pay. What is the area of cover? Numerous health insurance policies are Health Maintenance Organization or Partnership for Prescription Assistance. Essentially this can mean certain doctors might not be in your approved medical professionals or not be included on the medical insurance policy. A directory of approved health professionals should be provided with most insurance plans, before confirming a choice make sure you look into the choices with care.
Catastrophic coverage: Restrictions are frequent in student health insurance policies especially as far as terminal illness, the coverage provided in virtually all student health insurance is by and large smaller than any regular insurance plan. Limitations: Budget student health coverage policies may include some restrictions. It is crucial to read over the insurance policy carefully to check what may and may not be included in any policy.
Carry all the health insurance documents close to hand no matter where you go. Accidents are not just not possible to plan for, but they are unfortunately likely to happen when you do not anticipate them. Acquaint yourself with your college medical insurance policy even if you are included in your parent’s insurance policy.

Even if you don’t follow a high fiber menu or alot of high fiber recipes, have a half cup of orange juice at breakfast, a pear with lunch, and a salad along with a cooked vegetable at dinner. You’ve just met some of the standards from the new FDA nutritional guidelines, “MyPyramid”.
It’s all very simple. Eat a minimum of three one-ounce servings of whole grains daily along with at least five servings of fruits and vegetables. For the high fiber challenged, try a whole grain cereal at breakfast rather than the sugar-laden, empty calorie brand you stock in the pantry. Switch from white to whole grain bread for your lunchtime sandwich.
In April, 2005, the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) released it’s interactive dietary guidleines called Mypyramid. Apparently we were long overdue for an updated version of the flawed and misleading former food pyramid. With the current growing awareness of the health benefits of high fiber food in today’s diet, it’s a wonder that Americans have made it this far without more effective guidelines. Or have we?
Two-thirds of Americans are now overweight, and some experts actually blame some of that on the food pyramid. The old one consisted of the “Four Basic Food Groups” that you remember growing up with as a kid. Too many kids today are faced with weight problems due to poor eating habits and lack of exercise.
MyPyramid is by design simple and encourages healthier food choices including whole grains and high fiber foods along with daily exercise.
Six bands of color from the peak of MyPyramid to the base indicate: orange for grains, green for vegetables, red for fruits, a tiny band of yellow for oils, blue for milk, and purple for meat and beans. The widths suggest the amount of food a person should select from each group.
A little figure running up the stairs acts as a reminder to get some exercise. Unfortunately, no mention is made of the differences between aerobic and anaerobic exercise, or the role of strength training
The new guidelines distinguish between ‘grains’ and ‘whole grains’, essential when choosing fiber-rich foods. Rather than just suggesting we eat fruits and vegetables’, MyPyramid suggests eating a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables rather than the empty calories found in fruit juices.
The guidelines include healthy dairy choices that are low-fat instead of the highly saturated fats found in some milk and cheeses. The three recommended glasses of low-fat milk, however, can add more than 300 calories a day. Not great for those concerned about controlling their weight.
Also encouraged is replacing red meat with a combination of fish, poultry, beans, and nuts offers numerous health benefits. Be aware that these foods have different types of fats.
Basically, MyPyramid emphasizes good fats, like olive and fish oil, not butter and animal fat, and good carbs, like those from vegetables, whole grains and fruits, ot from processed grains and sugars.
MyPyramid contains interactive activities that make it easy to key in your age, sex and your amount of physical activity to create a more personalized recommendation for a daily calorie intake.
No doubt in the years to come, researchers will discover new evidence that will impact more changes for a healthy diet. But the results are in and here to stay: a high fiber diet is vital to long-term health. Pyramid. Period.

One’s diploma cover can be customized by use of the colors that represent the academic institution, accent styles, silk ribbons, cover orientation and so on. For every custom-made college diploma cover, people can use a number of text related, embossing and engraving options. Most diploma covers are made using leatherette covers that are tough and not easily worn out. The diploma covers can be made using different orientations and the most common ones are vertical and horizontal. A diploma cover not only protects the valuable document, it also adds a touch and it’s better than keeping it in an ordinary envelope.

Your print cartridge is an essential component of a printer, since they contain the necessary ink that is spread on the paper during the printing process. A good quality printer ink toner or cartridge ensures you always get good quality images.
The the finished result largely depends on the smooth and continuous flow of ink. So, once the flow of ink slows down, to change the printer inkjet cartridges. In thermal inkjet printer cartridges, each ink reservoir partition contains a heating element that responds to the signals provided by the printer by warming up. However, if the ink in the Print Inkjet cartridges is not , the print will not produce a smooth result. The ink in the printer inkjet cartridges also acts as a coolant for the heating elements.
