In essence affliliate marketing is akin to an auction. You push the various products on your internet site and in return, you receive a percentage from each purchase. It isn’t as much work, very few overheads, it sells 24/7, and even better, it is comparatively easy to master.
To start with, you need to decide just what niche market you want to work in. A effective way to do this is, determine what specific solutions to a given problem a specific customer profile is looking for, and what solutions are on offer to help them. One of the most effective means to determine this easily is to search for specific sets of narrow keywords; broadly speaking people look for these less frequently, all the same they convert far more. To discover these lucrative words or phrases, use Micro Niche Finder or or a a similar application. Data compiled from this program or similar programs or software packages compiles a listing of associated keywords allowing you to get a good listing in the search engines and generate a high number of hits.
Micro Niche Finder information will also recount detailed figures on the words and phrases, just how many different sites who use them, and inforamtion on the competition as well. Lastly, Micro Niche Finder information can help identify related domains, help you put together your internet site, and point out desirable merchandise to sell.
Building a website is the next step; however you still have a couple of crucial tasks to complete. Having the top placing on internet based search engines involves the optimization of your website. Here SEO Elite information comes in. This software automatically analyzes competing internet sites and can provide you with suggestions on exactly what you can do to have top place in the search engine listings. In SEO Elite the data produced from the software suggests where to look for links, which words or phrases to focus on, and even a list of article submission websites to use. In summary, SEO Elite information is the same sort of information that an SEO specialist may give.
Once you find your niche, set up your product promotion, and your internet site is ready to go, then it’s time to forcefully expand your search engine rankings. You will collect steady payments and question why you ever worried about enough money!

This type of marketing resembles an auction. You feature the various products on your internet site in return, you’ll have a percentage from each sale or lead. There’s less work, very low overheads, it works twenty four hours a day, and even better, it’s comparatively easy to learn.
To start with, you need to determine what items or niche area you want to work in. A method of doing this is, you need to find out solutions to problems a unique market segment is suffering from, and then find out how you can assist them. A great way of doing this task is looking for specific narrow keywords; there are less searches for these as a rule, even so a higher percentage of these convert.
If you’d like to find these lucrative keywords, use applications like Micro Niche Finder. Data compiled by Micro Niche Finder or analogous applications and services makes a listing of related keywords providing worthwhile information to gain an advantage in the rankings on an internet based search engine.
Micro Niche Finder will in addition tell you how many searches each one gets, just how many different sites are utilizing them, and how strong those sites are. Ultimately, Micro Niche Finder information can help identify suitable domains, help you in putting together your website, and also point out the best merchandise for you to sell. Next you need to construct a internet site; but you still have a few important things to do. It’s crucial to fine-tune your web site to better your ranking on the search engines. This is where SEO Elite information and other similar programs can be useful. Your rivals’ sites are examined by the program which then offers advice to improve search engine performance.
With software like SEO Elite, data provided by the computer software advises you on links, the most profitable keywords, and even an extensive listing of article submission internet sites to refer to. Concisely, SEO Elite information is much like to the advice that an SEO professional would offer.
When you have determined what target market you want to sell in, plan your product advertisements, and your site has been put together, then it is time to efficiently increase your search results. You’ll pick up regular payments and you’ll question why you didn’t try this method of marketing before!

People are always looking for ways to close the sale. Often times when
you lose a sale, it has nothing to do with your ability to close. The only
secret to closing more sales is by focusing more on your customer.
Focus on the customer goes far beyond the words coming out of your
mouth. Your focus directly affects your body language, your tone, and
your message. These are three of the key factors that customers use to
determine if they like you and if your product can solve their problem.
Focusing on your customer means that you are actively listening and
that you personally care about the customer. These things cannot be
faked. You must truly want to listen and you must truly care about
helping the customer. That is the only secret to closing the sale.
Body language will show you are focused on your customer. Your
customers detect your body language even if they are not aware of it.
There is no ’secret’ way to ensure that you have effective body
language. When you are engaged in a conversation with a customer
and you remain focused, it can be nothing but positive body language.
The same is true for your tone of voice. If you are listening with the
intent to understand, instead of listening with the intent to respond, then
that amount of personal attention will reflect in the tone of your voice.
The tone of your voice, like your body language, plays a role in how well
someone receives your message.
The content of your message will naturally be in-line with what the
customer would like to hear if you focus on the customer and nothing
else. When you are in-sync with the customer, then the customer will
guide the conversation all the way to the commitment to buy.
Here are eight ways to ensure you are focusing on your customer:
1. Relax.
2. Find out something personal about your customer.
3. Call them by their first name often.
4. Find out WHY they are interested in your product and refer back to
that reason often.
5. Listen to understand the meaning of what it is they are saying.
6. If you catch yourself formulating a response before they finish talking,
this means that you are not listening.
7. Look your customer in the eye.
8. Get your mind right. Why do YOU want to help this customer? If the
answer is just to make the sale, then start here.
You need to care about the customer personally and care about solving
their problem before you can ask them to buy from you. Many
salespeople are well intentioned but lose focus of their customer
somewhere during their conversation. It is this ability to maintain your
focus that will not only differentiate you from your competition; it will win
you more sales.

If you want a truly successful business, you need to take a close look at how Psychology can set you apart from the rest of your competition.
Secrets of negotiating
Remember this: no matter how great your product or service, unless you can negotiate innovatively you’ll never achieve the success that can be yours.
When you follow-up with a prospects, ask them: “Do you have any situations that we can work out together using our mutual expertise?”
Psychologically, by substituting the word “situations” for problems, you are more likely to get a positive response. Also, by using the term “combined or mutual expertise” you are telling them you respect their valuable knowledge.
Remember this advice - Seek first to understand, then to be understood.
How to make people respond more quickly
Remember: “People respond more to what they are going to lose than to what they are going to gain.”
It’s very powerful when you explain to prospects they will probably lose market share to their main competitors if they don’t adopt your ideas. Ask yourself: What will my customers stand to lose if they do not buy my service or product?
Psychology can also play a powerful part in overcoming objections to requests for a follow-up call. There are two strategies that will result in incredible opportunities coming your way. Try them today.
Tell your prospects you really want to understand their needs precisely and you feel you can’t achieve this unless you talk to them in on the phone. People want to feel understood more than anything else and the businesses that understand this take all.
You can also add that it will only take, say, 12 minutes, (let them time you!) to show them how they can benefit from what you’re offering. You can also offer to give them a free gift (low cost with a perceived high value eg reports, e-books etc) if they think you’ve wasted their time.
Packaging Your Website
You can increase your sales by using appealing photographs of typical users (yourself) on your website.
Why is this? Well, it humanizes your product or service and prospects perceive you to be more professional and trustworthy.
This can be very powerful for a home-based business to add to the level of trust for your potential prospects.
Beware of this common mistake
This is a common mistake made by many in home-based business marketing. Marketing your home-based business, you must sell benefits, not features. If you sell your product or service using features, you must stop this mistake immediately.
While marketing your home-based business, you can sell its features: “Free website and dozens of marketing tools to promote your site”. How many advertisements do you see like this?
However if you sell benefits, you sell prospects a lifestyle and that’s psychologically powerful.
For example, you can sell benefits by offering “Financial freedom” (your product) with a special offer of test-driving the product for 30 days (innovative pricing to encourage a larger sale). You can then detail how your product leads to financial freedom, for example, free website with your personal attention to helping your prospect begin marketing their new business.
This can be done in many different ways no matter what your home-based business is. The secret is to turn your service or product into a package (a way of life) and combine it with innovative pricing.
Psychology in marketing
Using psychology in your marketing will add immense power to your efforts, you’ll reap the rewards quickly.
Psychology is not a trick it is recognizing and celebrating our strengths and weaknesses as humans.
My next article
My next article will be titles, “We eat our young”. It will be a discussion on the psychological aspects of helping, or in some cases not helping persons new to owning their own business.

Inspiration and Management from Within - Part 2.
The more you follow the path of exploration into the mystery of life, the more life becomes revealed to you. Life begins to express its secret, its nature. What is required of us, for deeper understanding, is a commitment to follow earnestly the laws of life into self discovery. Few things have greater impact on the world, than the study of human nature and this study ultimately is found in the study of self. Through this study of self we come to know, what is really the study of God.
IF we could become fully aware of this self, then the search for spirituality would cease, we would no longer pilgrimage to sacred places, as life itself, the very thread of our existence, would become the divine mystery we all seek. Life reveals itself in every atom, on every corner and in every moment, life can be the magic in itself.
Everything in this world which appears to be unharmonious is in reality, the limitation of our own vision. The wider the horizon of our perspective, the more harmony of life we enjoy. In the very depth of our being, the harmony and simplistic working of the whole of natures plan exists. It can be heard through inner awareness. It is not the outer sound that plays the music of the soul, it is from within.
“Every external activity is directed by an inner cause. Every cause has its effect and all effects belong to us. This is our true power, the ability to reach within and temper the steal of causality. In the daily events of life, this capacity is not always obvious. People often see themselves victimized and therefore cannot attain a balance. Yet to the keen observer, awakened to the real world there is nothing but balance. Perfect harmony, exists as a hum, beneath the surface of all activity. It is only the keen observer, steeped in self awareness that it is, however, revealed. This beauty, this order reveals the balance of good and evil, right and wrong, masculine and feminine - and, when viewed by the keen eye, correspond with a larger purpose, and are therefore harmonious.” Christopher Walker.. 2003.
1. It’s only Natural
(exert from Innerwealth; Putting the heart and soul back into work and life. Wiley Uk.)
The laws that make self observation possible are not the laws of human morality. Such laws are for the dignity and well-being of the mass, and provide safety for existence. Self observation must be made from a larger perspective from this in order to eliminate the concepts of judgment and worthiness. Here is a small snap shot of those higher laws.
Harmony
In nature, what we appreciate will grow. Human bodies are a composition of trillions of vibrating particles with our total well being reflected in this movement. Our thoughts control this vibration revealing that by developing positive thought patterns, we can personally impact our own lives in a positive way.
Balance
Nature is pure balance. By aligning ourselves with the simple principles of balance, we can live a mindful existence. Where clear thinking, peace of mind and an open heart will together create a strong sense of centeredness. An imbalance in the body and mind can be transformed instantaneously to help you create and sustain energy and vitality for a lifetime.
Interconnectedness
In nature, nothing is ever lost or missing, however it does change constantly. An individual’s perceptions can be limited and unhealthy and they are in need of ways in which to let go of the old and move forward with purpose. Once we learn to recognize that everything is changing and evolving for a reason, then we can really achieve our full potential as powerful individuals in this world.
Evolution
Nature demonstrates to us that maximum evolution occurs at the border of support and challenge. The greatest thing in life is unconditional love and the evolvement of our world depends on this. By understanding that evolution can be achieved by an individual’s strength to move through difficulties with love and gracefulness, the quality of one’s life will be instantly enriched.
Inspiration
The greatest gift in life is the experience of being inspired. Nature has intended us to live this way. Leadership is inspiration. Certainty is inspiration. This higher thinking is that whose essence will connect people in groups, create harmony in relationships and move organizations forward in their purpose. Every human being has the right to an inspired life.
2. To be in Harmony is the first Goal of life.
Each human being has an inner vibration, it is audible and visible. It is not visible to the eyes nor audible to the ears, but it is audible and visible to the heart. We might say, “I feel their vibrations, I feel their presence.”
Harmonics can be affected externally through sight and sound. The environment in an office can affect harmony easily. For example red walls excite a person and will make them inclined to fight. A striking color will give you an argumentative environment. From a psychological point of view ancient customs use a certain colors for a wedding, and other colors for different festivals. It all has meaning, there is a psychological significance behind the subtle realities of our external lives. A change agent, must have the skill at understaning these subtlties, because it is through this change that the most powerful impact can be created in the shortest time in any circumstance.
People affect each others harmonics. People create a feeling that is given off without them having said or done anything. A person can communicate a bad feeling, without doing or saying anything. This creates a negative atmosphere, and you will be uncomfortable with them. Because people are so material in our world we do not appreciate this power that person has on another through what is going on within themselves. It is not because of their saying or doing; it is because of their being. “People hear louder what you do not speak, than what you do.” It is in the vibration of life itself that the tone, and color are experienced, regardless of words or action.
If we could understand and tap into this immense resource of comprehension, we would begin to appreciate the power of life itself, because everything has a vibration and that vibration tells the truth. It will determine success and failure, happiness and sadness, sickness and health. We will have a greater scope for approaching that unlimited potential which is within ourselves when we understand the power of being. The ancient mystics speak of self-knowledge. This does not mean knowing; how old I am, or how good I am, or how bad I am, or how right or wrong I am. It means knowing the other part of one’s being, that deeper, subtle aspect of one’s being and it is on the knowledge of that being, that the fulfillment of life depends.
What you will begin to realize is that the first experience of your spiritual development is when you begin to feel in synch with the abundant presence of other living beings. This doesn’t only mean human beings exclusively, but with animals, with birds, with trees and plants. We all have this same privilege, if we realize it. When we close our heart, when we allow our self to be smothered by life, we become exclusive, we become cut away from the whole manifestation of love. It is humanity that divides itself, people create identities, but truly, life itself is undivided, indivisible.
When you begin to take a universal perspective you begin to see that all is undivided. Then instead of saying, “this is my friend, I love them”, we are able to say, “this is myself, I love me”. At this time, a person can say that they have arrived at the realization of love. As long as an individual says “I feel sympathy for them because they are my friend”, their sympathy has not yet been fully awakened. The true realization of sympathy is when we see our friend and say “this is myself”. Then the sympathy is authentic, fully realized and there exists a communication within oneself that is of a true essence.
Identity causes us to close ourselves off from both the external life, and the inner life. That inner part of life is made of sound and light and when we get in touch with this part, then we know the language of life, nature. This language expresses the past, the present and the future. It is a language which reveals the secrets and the character of nature, it is a language which receives and gives the great messages of inspiration.
A person who is caught in their identity is living on the surface of life. They will become materialistic, and struggle to achieve only for themselves and live for their own benefit. They will suffer from morning to night. They will be bitter and in trouble, as they are in the midst of struggle and conflict, mostly with themselves. To heal, the heart must be free, free to love. The person who discovers this has reached a truly elevated state of being.
What teaches this kind of love? Where can one learn it? Where can we study it? The key to this element of love is found in life itself. As we observe humans in the world today, with all the progress of society, still there is a void. Ask yourself these questions: What is it that is lacking? Is it harmony that is the key to the unlimited store of love which is in the heart of humankind? Is the meaning of life represented in Harmony? Is it that in knowing life, and seeing the order of it, we see the divine plan, and therefore, we also see the planner?

You know that word of mouth can grow your business. You hear your customers say nice things about your company all the time. So why don’t they tell people? And, why don’t they write it down?
Because you don’t ask.
Your customers are busy people. They don’t think about your business day in and day out like you do.
Testimonials don’t have to be written in a formal letter. You’ll often get more usable comments when they aren’t. Sound bites that pack a punch can go much further in building credibility for your company.
When you hear someone say something nice about your company, write it down. Ask them if you can quote them and use it in your promotional materials. It’s better for your business when your current customers tell your future customers about how great you are.

Here’s a surefire method to guarantee you achieve the best results from your sales letters. Rather than make a sales pitch that your prospects will very likely ignore, instead present your products or services as the answer to their problems.
When you offer the help that your target audience is looking for it won’t be hard to make sales. You can show that you really do understand the needs of your market by addressing these five specific questions right up front in your sales letter.
1. What’s In It For Me?
This is the number one rule of salesmanship. People buy products for one reason only…what they will receive out of it. You must instantly tell any prospect exactly what they will get out of your product. Your best opportunity to do this is in your headline. Make a bold statement right up front and capture your target audience immediately.
2. How Will My Life Become Better?
This is where you have to understand the emotional appeals that attract your prospects like moths to a flame. Do they want to become richer, smarter, better looking, thinner or more popular? Do they want to save time, money or effort? Study your niche market until you know what emotional buttons to push and you’ll see a huge increase in your sales instantly.
3. What Will Happen If I Say No?
You have to give people a compelling reason to buy from you. A good way to do that is by reminding them what will happen if they don’t purchase your product. What problems will continue to exist for them, how much money will they lose, how type of frustration will they continue to endure? Help your prospects to see that they really can’t afford to say no because your product truly is the solution to their problems.
4. Why Should I Trust You?
The best way to establish trust in your sales letters is by using testimonials. A good testimonial is the written equivalence of a word of mouth referral. Prospects naturally trust what other people say about their experience with you. Get your past customers who have been happy with your business to give you testimonials to use in your sales letter.
5. Will I Be Stuck With Your Product?
Here’s where you can literally seal the deal. Reverse the risk of doing business with you. Always offer a money back guarantee so that people will feel confident that they won’t lose out if your product is not what they expected. When your prospects see that you stand behind your products enough to assume the risk they can feel more comfortable in purchasing your products.
When you use these easy tips to answer your prospects questions in your sales letter, not only will you gain an unfair advantage over your competition, but you’ll also show your prospect that you care about their problems and your product is the solution that they need.

Do you routinely achieve a 65% - 85% callback rate on the
voice mail messages you leave for prospects?
You can. But first you have to ignore the “conventional
wisdom” being taught by sales trainers who never actually
cold-call or by business consultants who teach rather than
do.
In the course of my *research for my book, How To Get
Your Voice Mail Messages Returned
(http://www.VoiceMailReturned.com), I came across a
presentation that some consultant gave on this topic. Like a
lot of consultants, she didn’t base her techniques on
real-world experiences. Instead, she based it on a book she
read.
(*The techniques I teach are based on field
research. But I also was interested in what other people had
to say about this topic.)
She teaches what you might call a “blueprint” of a
standardized script you should follow when leaving cold-call
voice mail messages.
Without violating anyone’s copyright — and while
representing the “blueprint” as accurately as possible — I
will now share with you an example of a voice mail
message that follows the principles apparently taught in the
book she read.
If you prefer to use a traditional approach to voice mail, you
can copy this example.
Personally, I hope you won’t follow this blueprint,
because of the three underlying precepts I teach regarding
voice mail messages:
1. The only goal of a voice mail message is to get the
call returned (or, ultimately to result in a live
conversation).
2. Most voice mail messages left by salespeople are not
returned.
3. Therefore, the methods commonly employed by most
salespeople usually are ineffective.
But if you believe the conventional approach to be just fine,
here is a faithful example:
“Hi, my name is Dan O’Day and I am with Z-100 Radio. I
understand that you are the Advertising Manager for ABC
Widgets, which means you are responsible for the
advertising in the Riverside area. I work for a division of XYZ
Broadcasting that specializes in creating advertising
campaigns that are specifically designed to drive sales for
companies like yours. We have worked with everyone from
Brand X Widgets to Brand Z Widgets. For example, last year
we did an advertising campaign for Brand X Widgets in
which we helped them advertise their new Super Widget. I
would love to give you more specific details about other
successful campaigns we have designed and talk to you
about how we can help you meet your goals in Riverside. My
name is is Dan O’Day and you can reach me at
555-476-8111. That number again is 555-476-8111. Thank
you and I look forward to your call.”
Well, there it is: A “professional” voice mail message which,
according to some book, contains all the elements required
to stimulate a callback.
Lots of luck.
We don’t have enough space to analyze that message and
list all the things that it does wrong.
But I will point out something that the creator of this
“blueprint” doesn’t quite understand:
The average business executive sorts through his mail over
the wastebasket. As soon as he mentally identifies
something as “junk mail,” he drops it into that wastebasket.
And the majority of his mail goes directly into the trash
without ever being opened.
The average business executive listens to her voice mail
messages with her finger poised over the “delete” button.
And as soon as she decides this phone call is not
one that she needs to return or one that she will benefit from
returning, she hits “delete”…
…and never looks back.
That means you must begin your message with something
that makes the recipient afraid to hit the “delete”
button.
And it must maintain the recipient’s interest all the
way to your “call to action” (i.e., telling them exactly how and
when to return your call).
So you have a choice:
Do you want to leave “professional”-sounding messages
that get deleted, not returned?
Or do you want to leave unique, intriguing messages that
are are virtually irresistible to the recipient?

Many have goals, but few reach them all. Businesses like sports
teams aspire to making goals (gaining points) to earn rewards.
Are your goals clichéd with being productive? Why is it so
difficult to set realistic goals that 100% of the time you can
reach with ease? Ever think about what the motivating factors
are that caused you to choose those goals? Goals cannot be set
alone - they need reflection and confirmation of the origin
along the surrounding dynamics to assure the appropriate method
to set realistic goals. If you choose to set goals based only on
what you think is right, that will not work alone. You need to
agree that the goals set by your organization are also your
goals but not limited to their plan - make your own! Look
beyond, dream about what you wish for your loved ones, for
yourself and start there. Taking charge of your own destiny will
keep you productive. You will be able to look beyond the
politics of organizations that can diminish your efforts to
reach and exceed goals when they are not your own.
When the press asked Larry Bird how many practice shots he takes
in a day, he responded with “1,000 shots.” The reporter asked,
“How is that possible?” Bird simply stated that some shots are
physical but most are visually taken (positive visualization).
Visualizing successful shots when at a stop sign (seeing your
successful goals played out) is an effective means of motivation
towards achievement of your goals.
It’s up to you to determine what you wish to achieve in life,
but learn from what you’ve accomplished, what factors proved to
support you on your journey to achieve goals that are in line
with what you desire. But make certain you visualize all your
goals for the day, month, year and life and map them
individually, enabling you to see how to score your own shots.
When you own your goals, they will naturally motivate with
empowerment to reach them.

The most frequent advice that I give fundraisers is about how to increase the amount of money raised with a fundraiser. Many of these ideas to maximize results will apply to just about any situation. So consider adding one or all of the following techniques to your upcoming fundraising efforts.
1. Incentive Programs - Create an incentive for donors or participants to help you with your fundraising program. Here are two examples of incentive programs:
Sales Contests - prizes for volunteers who sell the most raffle tickets, have the highest sales in a product fundraiser or otherwise raise the most money with your campaign. Prizes can be anything from a gift certificate, a plaque, free tickets to an event or a trip.
Thank you gifts for donors - Provide small thank you tokens depending on the level of giving. Thank you gifts could be items such as books or DVDs or event oriented such as a cocktail party, concert or other special gathering just for donors.
2. Multiple Fundraisers - Event fundraisers should always have several ways to bring in revenue. Examples include silent auctions, raffles, advertising in programs, food, corporate sponsors, booth rental, entry fees or souvenirs.
3. Partnerships - Partnering with other organizations, businesses and individuals can help in your fundraising efforts. For example, a fundraising event may be easier to plan and have greater attendance when it is sponsored by two organizations. Creating a sponsorship or advertising program will help involve businesses and individuals and underwrite the costs of your fundraiser.
4. Donations - When planning a fundraising event get as much donated as possible, this includes food, facilities and supplies. Prizes for silent auctions, raffles, door prizes and incentives should always be donated.
5. Increase Publicity - Just like in the business world, people need to be exposed to an opportunity multiple times before “buying.” Fundraising events should increase publicity during the weeks leading up to an event using press releases, banners and other advertising. Letter campaigns are most effective with multiple contacts including follow up letters, postcards and/or telephone calls.
